There’s a huge myth out there about class presentations.
The myth:
information + information = something of value.
The fact:
information + information = zero, zilch, nada,
unless your presentations connect emotionally with your listeners and inspire them to change or act.
But how do we make our presentations inspirational… and transformational? Come find out. You just may discover some ideas as big as your spirit.
Who Should Attend
This train-the-trainer seminar is designed to help Citizen Police Academy coordinators and police officers who instruct one or more classes for their agency’s Citizen Police Academy program.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Tap into their own passion for training and infuse it into any training topic.
- Connect with and inspire your adult Citizen Police Academy students, no matter what their age.
- Ask the right questions that draw your Citizen Police Academy students into the training and makes them part of it.
- Use stories, symbols, quotes, multi-media presentations, humor, and interactive exercises to raise your training to a new level.
The seminar will inform, challenge, “enter-tain,” and inspire.
About the speaker: Valerie Van Brocklin
